Canine Treatment
All dogs can be at risk of injury and musculoskeletal discomfort and can therefore benefit from physical therapy. Obviously, our sporting and working dogs can be put under a lot of physical strain when being asked to train, compete and/or work, but also our pet dogs, simply from their activities of daily living such as climbing stairs, getting on and off furniture or in and out of vehicles, can pick up aches and pains that need to be addressed. In addition, many dogs, due their breeding, are susceptible to specific conditions and conformational dysfunction, the effects of which can often be successfully managed with veterinary chiropractic treatment. Treatment can be used to help recovery from a specific injury or trauma, but regular maintenance checks are highly beneficial for all dogs to help prevent injury, maintain health and optimise performance.
