Consultation
You will need to allow approximately one hour for your appointment.
This will involve:
- A full and detailed medical and management history review
- A static conformation assessment
- An analysis of the animal’s gait/movement (for equine clients this may involve seeing the animal lunged or ridden)
- Assessment and treatment of muscle spasm and tension using massage, stretches and sometimes laser if needed
- Assessment of skeletal misalignments and joint range of motion using McTimoney chiropractic techniques to correct
- Development of a tailored aftercare program that may involve a period of rest, specific conditioning exercises and/or appropriate stretches for you to continue with after their treatment. We will ensure that you are safely and competently performing these as part of our session.
Please note, that although our main focus in on equine, canine and feline treatment other animals can be treated upon request.
